Poojya Sree Bhagawan, Dr. K.V. Srinivasa Pai, is the third Guru in the Guruparampara of Divine Mother Ramadevi. He was born on 10th March 1927, as the eldest son of Dr. Vitthaldas and Smt. Leelavathy Pai of Pallavaram, Chennai.
As a child of eight, He fell ill with nephritis which was incurable in those days. Doctors had given up all hopes. But He was miraculously cured by a sanyasin who disappeared once his work was done. A few years later after surrendering to Divine Mother Ramadevi and accepting Her as his Guru, Dr. Vitthaldas dedicated the young Srinivasa to Her for Her mission.
Poojya Sree Bhagawan took His M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Madras University. Later He occupied top executive posts at various companies.
Bowing to Divine Mother’s wishes Poojya Sree Bhagawan married Her niece Taradevi. They led a life of Gurubhakti and service of the Guru. The principles taught by Divine Mother were exemplified in Their life. When Sree Taradevi succeeded Divine Mother Ramadevi to the Gurupeetam, Poojya Sree Bhagawan supported Her in all Her activities to promote Divine Mother’s mission.
After Sree Taradevi’s Mahasamadhi, Poojya Sree Bhagawan became the Guru for Divine Mother’s devotees.
Poojya Sree Bhagawan started two trusts to feed the poor, grant medical aid to the needy, to fund the education of poor students, to conduct religious rites and publish spiritual literature.
His lucid expositions of Divine Mother’s teachings and scientific explanations of spiritual topics drew to His fold simple minded devotees as well as rationalists. Being the Guru, He used to absorb the effects of the bad karmas of His devotees just like His predecessors and make His own body suffer.
In 2011, to mark the birth centenary of His Guru, Divine Mother Ramadevi, Poojya Sree Bhagawan inaugurated a spiritual retreat, Sree TaRama Nagar, dedicated to Her, wherein He installed a lovely Vigraha of Divine Mother as well as of Sree Mahaganapathy, Lord Siva, Lord Shani, the Navagrahas, Lord Hanuman and Nagadevata.
Then at the ripe age of ninety, He dissolved Himself in the Lotus Feet of His Guru on August 15th, 2017.
